“Ger” Youth Center is a community based, non-profit organization and it is tax exempt under section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. It was founded in April, 2009 by Mongolian immigrants living in the San Francisco Bay Area, who are devoted to preserving and promoting the traditional arts, culture and the heritage language among the younger generations of the Mongolian community in the United States.

In 2018, our chess class student Enkhjin Gomboluudev won State Championship and participated in the National level, representing the state. He teacher is Chess Fide Master Ms. Uyanga Byambaa. We are very proud of our student and teachers achievents.
“GER” youth center is very proud of our students’ mesmerizing performances. Every year, our dance students are invited to perform at other community events such as Alameda County and BART Lunar New Year celebration, Berkeley Spring Festival, Alameda API Festival, OACC’s Winter and Spring Galas, Locke Foundation Harvest Festival, Chinatown Chamber of Commerce New Year Celebration, Himalayan Spring Festival, TCCSFBA New Year Gala, APA Heritage Celebration and Mongolian Naadam Festival.
